Passion for High Mountain Tea

My name is May and I live in Melbourne, Australia. I started drinking tea from a young age. I grew up in a time where friends and neighbours would drop by, have a conversation and drink tea. At the same time, I also wished to replace my love of wine with something that would uplift my senses instead of numbing them. Since then I have bought, been given, tried and tasted many varieties of tea from all over the world, some good, some quite forgettable. But it's only when I tried a particular tea that took my appreciation of this drink to a whole new level.

I'd like to share with you my discovery and experience with High Mountain Oolong (or simply High Mountain Tea). Oolong tea goes through a unique fermentation process and you will appreciate its character and flavour. High Mountain Tea adds another layer to this being cultivated in the highlands (above 1,000 m) with clean, fresh air and mountainous soil. I believe once you are able to try a cup of good quality, genuine High Mountain Tea, you will fall in love with its exquisite floral aroma and tastes, not to mention its amazing health benefits. It will draw all of your senses to that one moment, and there is no other place to be but the present.

Many friends who come visit have tried my Oolong tea and tend to ask the same question: Where can they buy this tea? With their encouragement, I have decided to share this passion with a larger audience. The High Mountain tea I offer here is the same tea I personally drink and enjoy.

I pick only one or two cultivars per season, acquiring a small amount directly from the farm in Taiwan (in the famous Alishan or A-Li Mountain) to share with Oolong tea lovers all over. These top grade teas are in high demand and rarely make it to the shops, they are snapped up even before they leave the mountain. This is compounded by the large number of Oolongs now flooding the market, be it online or in the shops, making selection even more difficult.

But if you are simply looking for a genuine, flavoursome, top-grade High Mountain Tea, one that is personally tried, tasted and enjoyed every day by a fellow Oolong tea lover, one that is obtained from a reputable farm in Taiwan, then you have come to the right place. I don't offer 10, 20 or 30 different types of tea, I just offer tea that I drink and love, and most importantly they are affordable without compromising on quality.
